Self-Sufficiency and Life Skills for the Modern Age

Menu Plan Monday – April 25

This week I’ve been updating, redesigning, and working on combining several of my similar blogs. While I was importing, I came across a weekly series I used to participate in called ‘Menu Plan Monday.’ I’ve done some posts on how to menu plan, but sometimes I think just seeing others’ plans every week helps tremendously too. I always find new recipes in other blog posts that sound really good. Here’s what we have going on this week.

This week’s menu plan

Monday: Leftovers (my husband smoked a tri-tip on Sunday, and it was so good we were happy to have it again)

Tuesday: I had something planned, but ended up rearranging the days. After handling an emergency call for my company for over an hour, I was no longer in the mood to cook. Pizza for him, plain wings for me it is. (Just keeping it real.)

Wednesday: Potato Kielbasa Skillet (a family favorite)

Thursday: Creamy Italian Chicken (first time try)

Friday: Out – date night

Saturday: Coq Au Vin Blanc (I’m cooking dinner for our 5th Anniversary)

Sunday: Shrimp and Zucchini Pasta (another family favorite)
