Ham and Mixed Bean Soup (Instant Pot)
I found a variation of this Ham and Mixed Bean Soup recipe on Facebook, but couldn’t bring myself to use the ham flavoring packet that came with the bag of mixed beans once I read the ingredient list. (Hint: not a lot of real food in that packet, let me tell you.) Enter the chicken broth I had in the freezer. And, yes, I put it into the Instant Pot frozen. I didn’t need to soak the beans, either.
After about an hour, the soup was perfect! Serve with saltine crackers (my husband’s favorite) or a loaf of crusty bread.
